2019 Imperial Springs International Forum

The 2019 Imperial Springs International Forum, organised by the World Leadership Alliance – Club de Madrid, jointly with the ACFEA, the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Provincial Government of Guangdong, was held on the 1st and 2nd of December 2019 in Guangzhou, China. Over 25 prominent global leaders, including over 15 members of the World Leadership Alliance – Club de Madrid, as well as various policy experts and diplomats from around the world attended the forum.

The 2019 Forum focused on the theme of ‘Multilateralism and Sustainable Development’ and how nations can best cooperate to achieve the United Nations Agenda 2030, including its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. 

The forum was attended by ACFEA’s Founder and Co-Patron Dr Chau Chak Wing, ACFEA’s CEO Mr Michael Harkins MVO PSM, ACFEA board members Mr Eric Chow, Mr Jim Harrowell AM, Dr Frank Alafaci PhD and Mrs Sylvia Alafaci, as well as General Peter Leahy AC and Mr Ivan Slavich.
